If you remember the post from back in June, we transformed the room from this:
to this:
We loved the neutrals and the statement they made, but of course once we found out that we were having a precious girl, we had to add a few girly touches. I had prayed and prayed to that the Lord would bless us with a little one, so once He gave us our little bundle there was no stopping me (see the fertility label for more).
After adding some beautiful pops of color we are officially done with the nursery (give or take a few organizational things in the closet and dresser).
Welcome to Baby's beautiful room - from boring, brown, and a constant reminder of our struggles to a beautiful and peaceful reminder of our miracle! (For links to the posts click on the words below the pictures.)
Curtains, dresser, changing pad holder, beaded chandelier, ottoman, and alphabet wall (a post on the wipes cover is coming soon)
Nursery shelves made from cabinet doors
Paint stick letter and wooden blocks
Closet re-do and clothes dividers (post on the storage baskets coming soon)
For information on the furniture or any of the original decorative items see the original post.
For less than $1,000 I'd say that we created the perfect room for our perfect daughter! A special thanks to my husband who was the best work partner I could've asked for!

ReplyDeletebeautiful, This gives me hope that i can keep the tanish walls in our nursery. It was my sons and we painted the lower half a very similar shade. I was convinced we had to rip out the chair rail and paint it all new for my baby girl. I didn't know how it would look with brown over all the walls. I'm excited to save some money! Thanks for sharing!
