I wasn't going to make a background, I was just going to use a wire hanger, but I decided I liked the idea of a solid back..and some more color, so I followed her tutorial.
I cut up some cardboard I had leftover from a pack of scrapbook paper and used Mod Podge to cover it with plain red scrapbook paper. I then used some red snowflake printed paper on the clothespins. Once that was all dry I hot glued the clothespins around the cardboard wreath, making sure the tight "teeth" were pointing outwards. In all I used 2 sheets of scrapbook paper and 35 clothespins.
This will make a perfect addition at Christmas time in our red kitchen..and be a great spot for guests to check out how good lookin' our family and friends are. :)
