Clothes dividers

Just in case you missed seeing my guest post over at Craftaholics Anonymous on Friday, I thought I'd share one of my latest projects: clothes dividers for Baby Girl's nursery.

Supplies needed:
Unfinished wood door hangers: $0.79 a piece from Hobby Lobby (I waited for a 50% off week)
Scrapbook paper
Scissors
Mod Podge
Foam brush (To apply the Mod Podge)
Brayer (If desired)
Distress ink (If desired)
Silhouette, markers, etc. (Utensil of your choice for the labels)
Velcro (If you decide to create them like I did)
Ribbon

Step 1: Trace the door hangers onto the scrapbook pages of your choice and cut them out.
Step 2: Adhere the scrapbook paper to the door hangers using the Mod Podge. I used my brayer to help smooth out the paper. Once dried, flip them over and adhere scrapbook paper to the other side and let dry.
I chose to put different designs on each side.
Step 3: Distress the edges with the distress ink if desired.
Step 4: Create your labels. I made mine with my Silhouette. (A big shout out to Kevin and Amanda for the adorable font My Own Topher!)
Step 5: I wanted to be able to change out the labels for when baby gets bigger so I attached a small piece of Velcro to one side of the hangers and one to the back of the labels.
Step 6: Admire your work!
Step 7: Cut ribbon and loop it around the door hangers to hang from the curtain rod in your little one's closet!

I absolutely love them. They are super cute, were super cheap, and were super easy to make, which is exactly my favorite kind of craft! :)

I participate in the link parties found here.
