Revamped wall decor

When we repainted our hallways, living room, and kitchen a little over a month ago I remembered that I still had these three signs hanging in the kitchen, looking into the living room. I think I was so "over them" that I erased them from my view. Anyone ever do that?
My solution? No, no! I'm not going to throw them away or give them to Goodwill! I'm gonna get my money's worth and fix them up just like I did with our big picture in the living room (if you missed that, check it out here).

Step one: Take the pictures down from the wall.
Step two: Use up the rest of an old murky brown spray paint to cover over the words and designs.
Step three: Paint the signs a vibrant, beautiful red.
Step four: Pull out the Silhouette and find a font you adore. I used "Horseshoes and Lemonade."
Step five: Print the letters and apply to the boards.
Step six: Hang them back up and admire your easy-peasy redo.
Voila, old art made new..and unique! ;)

  1. I love the simplicity and the fact that you were able to recycle what you had.
